SKILL SETS

Skill sets have been issued this week in order to raise the grades of students that didn't do well on the examination. These sets include the rules of operation, and an example of how to work a problem with accompanying problem sets. They are due before winter break and will be used to increase test scores.

Hi Mr. Thorton,

Glad you have a blog up and running now. Wanted to share with you that I was not able to pull off any of the documents you referenced on the blog. Second, did not see a skill set sent home.

Hello Mr.Thornton,

I was unable to receive any of the skills that were to be posted as well as the math packet that was to be posted on Monday,December 22,2008 as stated.I've checked periodically up until today. If possible I would still like to receive the skill sets to be able to assist my son as needed to be assured that he has to master the areas that he may need addidtional help and to be certain that he understands as whole the math concepts that are being taught.

Thanks in advance,
S.Woodie

Hi Mr. Thornton,

Any way we could receive more updated information through this blog on what the kids are doing in math? Thank you.

Hi Mr. Thorton,

I was just going to say how you need to be a more exciting when you teach. You are boring when it comes to math and you need to be having us doing stuff instaed of some board work.
